Spending money on alcohol, luxury, and shiny things. While I kept choosing mountains. Oceans. Quiet. Nature. I wondered if I was sacrificing too much. Money. Stability. Peace of mind. But the more I sit here, surrounded by what we were actually built for, the clearer it feels. Maybe I am part of the 1%. But this is my 1%. And it gives me a kind of happiness nothing else ever did.
