Our family made a room float for a photo! šŖ¼š#CanonPartner
Weeks of planning and building came down to this one moment š³. For this photo, we wanted to capture a floating, underwater dream world in-camera, so we got to work! We decided to make jellyfish props that looked real on camera, so we did a bunch of research and brainstorming. We ended up doing a combination of hot glue, fiber optic lights, LED strips lights, and ribbon. Itās always the things you least expect that take the longest. In this case, it was searching for the perfect jellyfish shaped bowl. Once we found that, we spent nearly a week making and remaking the jellies until we got it right š
. Once the set was finished, we had one chance to capture it because we were leaving on a two week trip the next day. Down to the wire! Eloise rested on the platform while Emma steered the bubbles, Oliver moved the jellyfish, Nick handled the leaf blower, and I captured it all with my @canonusa EOS R5 Mark II and RF24mmĀ F1.4Ā L VCM Lens. This is such a powerful duo! I can switch back and forth between videos and photos seamlessly during photoshoots now. This is so helpful when I am capturing behind the scenes as well as the final photo! I canāt believe how wellĀ Canonās new RF L Series Hybrid lensesĀ can capture handheld video. I never use a gimbal anymore! šø:Ā f/2.5, 1/250 seconds, 1600 ISO #CanonCreatorĀ
